About Our Medical Director

Dr. Megan Mistry, an internal medicine physician with a specialty in geriatrics and palliative care, came to Avery to serve as Medical Director in 2010.

She attended New York College of Osteopathic Medicine and completed her internal medicine residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts. Dr. Mistry was a primary care physician for six years and hospitalist for four years, and now works for an Affiliated Physicians Group sub acute care practice.
